Slabs, Pads & Foundations

Everything you build on it depends on the slab.

A garage, a workshop, a carport, a full commercial build-out — whatever goes on top, the slab has to be right first. We grade and compact the base for Gulf Coast soil, set the reinforcement, and pour full thickness with a level, true finish. No skimped pours, no soft spots, no guesswork.

Site prep & grading. Cleared, graded, and compacted so the slab sits level and drains right.
Reinforced for the load. Rebar or mesh sized to what the slab actually has to carry.
Poured to spec. Full thickness across the whole pad — not thinned out at the edges.
Level, true finish. Smooth or broom finish with control joints cut clean.

What homeowners usually ask.

What can you pour a slab for?

Garages, workshops, sheds, carports, AC pads, hot tub pads, home additions, and commercial flatwork. If it needs a flat, load-bearing concrete base, we pour it.

How thick should my slab be?

It depends on what's going on top. A typical shed pad differs from a garage or commercial floor, and we'll spec the right thickness and reinforcement when we come measure — and pour exactly that.

Do you handle site prep and grading?

Yes. Grading, forming, and base compaction are part of the job — the base is where slab quality is won or lost, especially in Gulf Coast soil.

How long until I can build on the slab?

Light use is usually fine within a few days, and most construction can start after about a week. We'll give you exact timing for your pour before we leave.

Delarosa and his whole team did such an amazing job on my driveway. Communication was easy back and forth and him coming out multiple times to verify everything was in order prior to start. From the time they started to the time they finished it was a 2 day event. Day 1 they started late in the work day because they just came from a job site and then day 2 they showed up early and were finished by mid day. Payments were made super easy on both our parts and he gave me a deal I couldn't pass up! My wife and I highly recommend Delarosa and his crew for any and all concrete work. I reached out for a quote and within a couples day they contacted me. They worked out a great deal and executed the job a couple days later. They arrived early in the morning and by the after noon the job was completed. Patience is KEY!
My driveway was a mess. They arrived at 7:15 am this morning and by 9:00 am the old one was broken up and being cleared away. It is now a little past 2:00 pm and they have almost completed the project. I am beyond pleased.
